"All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible."

― T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom: A Triumph

The power of passionate purpose!

I remember well the moment a close friend shared with me an unlabeled bottle of wine given to him by one of his clients. He opened it. I tasted it. I fell in love! This was the beginning of my pursuit of exploring and following my passion for drinking wine.

At that time, I had no idea that a number of years later I would dream of becoming a wine maker myself. That adventure began at our family home overlooking the majestic Snohomish River Valley atop a hill fondly referred to as “Fiddler’s Bluff." On this path my family took many risks to develop a formula for making a wine that we could be proud of.

My ancestor, Rush Lattin, a pioneer and artist, set out alone on a mule in the late 1800's with a dangerous dream to capture the magnificent Yosemite Valley on canvas. This label is a sketch of that heirloom painting, an expression of Rush’s passionate purpose that guided him to capture a moment of beauty that since has been shared with generations.

I inherited Rush Lattin's passion to risk pursuing my dreams in capturing the essence of a special place in time to enjoy with others. For me this place is the extraordinary terroir of Washington's Columbia Valley. This wine is an expression of my journey to capture the essence of this special place and to share it with you.

In the spirit of Rush Lattin’s legacy, it is our family's hope that you will use our wine as a center catalyst to dream dangerously, live your passionate purpose, and capture a special moment in time with family and friends.
