Larry Ransom
Owner and Wine Maker
Larry’s passion is to inspire others to greatness and to live lives that they love!
Years before Larry fell in love with the vision of making an extraordinary Washington Syrah, he completed a Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Science and started a company called The Synergy Network with the purpose of supporting and coaching entrepreneurs, leaders and teams to accomplish their vision of success. He called it The Synergy Network because of his belief that when a group of people are aligned around a common purpose and vision, “the sky is the limit.” As a result, he has worked with leaders from Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing, as well as platinum recording artist, emmy award winning filmmaker and national best selling author.
He brings this same philosophy into his wine making. Over the past 6 years he has been relentless in pursuing and searching out some of the best techniques and strategies for making wine. He has been open-minded and intentional about listening to others in the industry and using synergy as a way of accomplishing his dream. He has studied and sought out help from wine makers and sommeliers who are committed to greatness in the industry so that he may bring an extraordinary wine to your community table with the intention that you too, synergize with people in your community to make your dreams a reality.

Michelle Ransom
Owner and Marketer
Michelle Ransom is Larry’s “partner in vision” in creating an extraordinary Syrah!
The role that she plays naturally is attracting community and bringing communities together. She reminds people what is important, to have fun, to play nice and to make a positive impact on one another and the world. She is the light that brings people together and the glue that keeps them together. She brings those same attributes in supporting Larry and the family in making an extraordinary wine.
Michelle’s background is working with corporate America and small business using those same natural gifts of reminding people of what is important and bringing people together to accomplish the purpose they are serving at work. She works with leaders assisting them in their leadership communication, processes, production and goals and has had a lengthy career in real estate.
What started as a weekend passion project has blossomed into Rush Lattin Cellars, where Larry and Michelle blend their love for people with a commitment to crafting the finest expressions of Washington State varietals.
Their journey is not just about making wine; it’s about making the best wine, each bottle a celebration of their dedication to quality and community.
Jake Ransom
Assistant Wine Maker
Jake is as an assistant to his Dad in making wine and brings his passion, creativity and support to the family vision of making extraordinary wine. He has worked in retail management, is a gifted R & B singer and is completing his undergraduate’s degree in Business Marketing. Like his Dad, he brings focus, intention and creativity to the wine making process and like his mother, he brings fun, laughter and enjoyment.
David and Lisa Flesher
Co-Owners
Lisa and David met in Spokane, Washington while attending Whitworth College. Both are deeply connected to the land and have a passion for learning about the amazing gifts nature offers to us. Lisa, who is Larry’s twin sister is a poet and writer, who captures our environment with brilliant images.
David is an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Oklahoma City. Though Oklahoma is their home, they split time between Crested Butte, Colorado and Indianola, Washington, where they hope to settle and enjoy making and sharing great Syrah with friends and family.
What connects Larry and Michelle, David and Lisa besides their family ties is that both families share a passion for wine, friends, family, and creating dreams and aspirations to pursue.
Ole Thompson
Sommelier and Head Blender
Ole brings with him over 20+ years of experience in the wine industry in which his journey has consisted of passionately pursuing his knowledge of wine, and sharing it with people who want to learn and to expand their palates. This has taken him from curating the wine selection of Town and Country, and doubling their projected sales goals to playing a key role in the wine program for the Wild Ginger and The Triple Door restaurants, assisting them in achieving the Wine Spectator Grand Award for Wild Ginger, as well as The Wine Enthusiast Award of Ultimate Distinction for both Wild Ginger and The Triple Door respectively. His knowledge and certifications as an Advanced Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) and Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators), in conjunction with becoming Brand Ambassador, Estates & Wines, North America at Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, has made him a valuable resource in guiding us here at Rush Lattin Cellars, to produce a special blend for our wine lovers and treasured private members.
